The EAPT is a non-profit making association which supports pharmacy technicians in the provision of a safe effective and efficient pharmaceutical service for the benefit of the patient in all EAPT member countries.

The purpose and role of EAPT is to provide and compare information on the role and education of pharmacy technicians across Europe.

The EAPT was established in 2010 by eleven professional pharmacy technician associations and the NAHPT was one of those associations.  Irish pharmacy technicians are represented by both the NAHPT and the IACPT.  As of 2017, there are 14 member countries.  We meet once a year and in 2016, Ireland had the honour of hosting the meeting.
